From the beginning the Sacchini family wanted to do much more than produce simple plastic containers and over the years has invested in the staff training, plant, equipment and its research laboratories. The result is that today Metalchimica employs state-of-the-art design and production processes to meet the needs of its customers. In 1993 Metalchimica registered a worldwide patent of double barrier bottle, which has made it a leader in the production of COEX containers. This innovation has made it possible to safely store and ship liquids and “aggressive” products such as agricultural fertilizers and chemical solvents. In addition, this type of container, helps to preserve perfumes and all contents sensitive to oxygen.
More recently, Metalchimica – through PACK INNOVATION - has patented an antimicrobial coating for plastic containers using silver (AG +). The result is a container protected from the invasion of microbial agents, viruses and fungi throughout the life cycle of the product, which reduces the spread of bacterial, viral and fungal infections. This coating is also effective against antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
In addition, Metalchimica has developed a 100% recycled plastic packaging unique in the world. This packaging material offers all the convenience and versatility of traditional plastic, without generating physical residues or harmful waste. Once buried in composting soil, containers of this material dissolve in water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2), leaving absolutely no residual pollutants.

All tubes can be printed on the entire surface of the body, from shoulder to tube cut, without empty areas. This allows printing to fully wrap the tube and to the client to present a product of excellence to the market.
